Job Summary
The Parts Counterperson plays an important role in supporting dealership operations by assisting customers and internal teams with parts needs. This position is responsible for managing the parts sales process from inquiry to fulfillment while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and brings strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications
Required:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Strong interpersonal and time management skills

Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment

Basic math and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety documents

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred:

Prior automotive parts sales experience
Responsibilities
-
Manage the parts sales process from inquiry to order completion
-
Communicate professionally with customers and internal staff
-
Provide price quotes and parts availability information
-
Read and interpret parts catalogs to identify correct components
-
Pull and fill parts orders accurately and maintain inventory accuracy

Review estimates to ensure correct parts selection and pricing

Assist internal departments with parts requests and billing

Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages
-
Process payments and obtain credit authorization when required
