City of Monroe Announces Upcoming Road Closure (Monroe, LA) In preparation for drainage work associated with the South Grand overlay and sidewalk project, the City of Monroe’s Traffic and Engineering Department have announced the following temporary road closures: 1. The closure of South Grand from Orange to Apple. The closure will begin Monday, November 21, 2022. The road should be reopened before Thursday, November 24, 2022, weather permitting. 2.
