Good Morning Monroe,
 

It’s a BEAUTIFUL Day in Monroe and all over Northeast Louisiana.  Last Friday evening, Mayor Ellis and Team Monroe put on an amazing live event celebrating our great city. The 2025 State of the City was over-the-top great. Team Monroe covered all the great things going on in our city. The Infrastructure Work, Public Safety, Quality of Life, updates from our City Council, Economic Development, the Civic Center, the Zoo, and much more were covered. The presentations were made by our front-line unsung heroes who make this city go. We live and work in a very special city. This is also a unique time as we transform into the future. The Meta project in Richland Parish is positively impacting all of us. The Mayor and Team Monroe were on the move before that. This team is dedicated to you and your businesses. We are a shining light on a hill, and we are getting brighter and brighter. What a great time to live and do business in Monroe. 30 years from now, people will look back and say I wish I could have been part of the renaissance of this great city and region.
