Letter from the President, June 9
What a BEAUTIFUL time to be living and doing business in Monroe and Northeast Louisiana. I recently came across a couple of quotes that resonate with our changing world. The first is –“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water that creates many ripples”. The second is ‘The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new”. The stone creates many ripples that have been cast. National HIV Testing Day
Friday, June 27th, is National HIV Testing Day. Since 1995, this special day has been set aside to encourage HIV testing. It is recommended that everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 test; however, those at a higher risk should test more often. Testing is the first step to a healthy life and prevents the spread of HIV.
