Ashley Dowling Named President of the Sterlington Business Alliance

Sterlington, Louisiana – The Sterlington Business Alliance (SBA) is proud to announce the appointment of  Ashley Dowling as its new President, following a unanimous vote of the Board of Directors. Dowling has been actively involved in the growth and development of the Alliance since its early stages, working alongside Monroe Chamber of Commerce President Mike Downhour to help establish the organization, build its board of directors, and grow a strong and engaged membership base.

Over the past year, the Sterlington Business Alliance has experienced significant momentum, hosting a 
variety of events including business luncheons, Coffee and Conversations, and leadership-focused 
meetings that have brought together local and state leaders to support the Town of Sterlington and its 
business community.

“I am incredibly honored to step into this role and continue building on the strong foundation that has 
been created,” said Dowling. “This has been a true team effort from the beginning. I’m grateful for Mike’s 
leadership and the commitment of our board and members who have helped bring this vision to life. I’m 
excited to keep that momentum going and continue creating opportunities for our businesses and 
community.”

The Sterlington Business Alliance was formed to strengthen connections among local businesses, 
support economic development, and create a unified voice for the business community. Under Dowling’s 
leadership, the organization will continue to focus on collaboration, meaningful programming, and 
initiatives that support long-term growth in Sterlington.

The Board of Directors expressed full confidence in Dowling’s leadership, citing her hands-on 
involvement, dedication, and ability to bring people together as key factors in their unanimous decision.
