ULM Foundation celebrates Life Changers at annual Evening of Thanks
MONROE, LA – The University of Louisiana Monroe Foundation recognized donors and lifetime benefactors at the annual Evening of Thanks event on Friday, May 2, 2025, in the Terrace Room on the 7th floor of the ULM Library. The theme of the 2025 event was “Celebrating Our Life Changers.” Attendees enjoyed musical performances from the ULM School of Visual and Performing Arts and personal testimonies from Rosemary Manning, Amaya West, and Michael Crenshaw. City of Monroe Selected for National League of Cities’ Grant Program to Boost Economic Growth and Re
(Monroe, LA) - Mayor Friday Ellis and the City of Monroe is proud to announce that the City of Monroe has been selected to participate in the Southern Cities Economic Initiative (SCEI), a program led by National League of Cities in partnership with Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Monroe has received a grant of $15,000 from NLC through funding by SCEI’s philanthropic partners and will join 19 other cities from across the Southern United States to develop strategies that boost economic mobility for residents
