About Us
The Richland Parish Data Center will be part of Meta’s global infrastructure that brings our
technologies and services to life. This data center will play a vital role in accelerating our AI progress,
delivering over 2 gigawatts of compute capacity to train future open source large language models.
While building the Richland Parish Data Center, we will make a
concerted effort to source labor and materials locally and provide
substantial contributions directly to the community. Meta is also
investing over $200 million in local infrastructure improvements,
including roads and water infrastructure. Additionally, we will be
contributing $1 million a year to Entergy’s customer assistance
program, which provides bill payment assistance to low-income
seniors and customers with disabilities.
