The Monroe-West Monroe Convention & Visitors Bureau is dedicated to promoting tourism in Ouachita Parish. We attract leisure travelers, business travelers, group travel, meetings, conventions, and sporting events. Our mission is to drive tourism and enhance the visitor experience in Monroe and West Monroe.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Sales & Events Developer, located in West Monroe, LA. The Sales & Events Developer will be responsible for generating leads, managing sales activities, providing excellent customer service, and effectively communicating with clients. Tasks will include planning and executing events, conducting outside sales meetings, and maintaining strong relationships with partners.
Qualifications
- Experience in Lead Generation and Sales
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Sales Management experience
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field is required
- Experience in the tourism or hospitality industry is a plus, but not required
