This position is responsible for generating sales and revenue for the Company.  The position works in the branch’s target market so that the company’s brand name and reputation will be prevalent within the market area. This position strives to earn a higher than standard rate of return on sales and profit.  The sales representative meets budgetary requirements of sales and expense control.  This position partners with the recruiting team and adheres to the safety requirements of client operations in presenting safety audits, client awareness and compliance for the safety of branch associates assigned.   The individual is a key team member that contributes to the successful results of the branch and fosters client-company relationships. This position must be sales driven with high focus on sales growth while following company policies. 
 Essential Functions

  1. Increase sales utilizing all avenues of selling such as in person sales calls, cold calls, social media, job fairs, community events, etc.  Continually take the pulse of potential and existing clients through informal telephone conversations, meetings, industry events and formal customer satisfaction surveys. Ensure a quick and proper response to all customer requests.
  2. Ensure that all branch personnel are aware of client expectations, job titles, duties, safety checklists. Communicate all reasonable precautions to avoid work-related accidents. Hold regular and frequent safety discussions and meetings to continually reinforce the safety message of our company to our clients.
  3. Business Development Managers must have the ability to keep client and company information confidential and gain the respect and trust with all clients.
  4. Ensure that all branch personnel understand the overall client objectives.  Inspire team work to achieve the stated objectives. The branch manager will be available to help resolve conflict and reinforce respectful communication between all associates and clients but the sales executive must be able to work with the recruiting team in harmony to achieve outstanding customer service.
  5. Comply with budgeted standards on smart purchases and expense reduction. Utilize standard purchasing techniques.  Understand the expense reporting and the guidelines to marketing to clients.
