Water Treatment Plant Phase 1 Ribbon Cutting
Mayor Friday Ellis and the City of Monroe are proud to announce the upcoming ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of Phase 1 of the Water Treatment Expansion Project. The ribbon cutting event is scheduled for Monday, March 4, at 2 PM at the Water Treatment Plant located at 2401 N 10th St.
The expansion project was initiated to enhance quality and address the increased demand for water services within the city and surrounding areas. With the completion of Phase 1, the Water Treatment Plant's capacity has been significantly enhanced, ensuring that the city can continue to provide essential services to its residents and businesses effectively and efficiently.
