ULM POLICE BEAR HUG PRESENTATION

Bear Hug Backpacks will be given to the ULM Police Department. The Monroe Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are working with local businesses and sponsors to ensure the Bear Hug Program can continue with area law enforcement.

The Bear Hug Program is designed to help children who face tragedy feel a sense of comfort with a stuffed bear that will be provided by law enforcement personnel. The Chamber of Commerce will provide not only a bear but also a bag that includes a dental kit.
