Think Pink 2026 United By Hope

Please join us for our Lights of Hope and Pink Tulip Decorating Event:
Thursday, September 10
9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Union General Hospital Lobby
During this special event, you will have two meaningful ways to recognize loved ones whose lives have been touched by cancer.
LIGHTS OF HOPE BAGS
Decorate a Lights of Hope bag in honor or memory of a loved one affected by cancer.
These special bags will travel with Jennifer Yelton, Referral Coordinator at Union General Rural Health Clinic, to Washington, DC. They will be displayed on the National Mall during the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network Leadership Summit and Lobby Day.
PINK TULIP GARDEN
Decorate a tulip-shaped sign in honor or memory of someone who has battled breast cancer.
The tulips will be placed around the Union General Hospital walking path in October as part of our Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities. Each tulip will carry a name or message representing someone’s courage, strength, journey, or memory.
Together, the decorated signs will create a beautiful Pink Tulip Garden and a powerful reminder that those affected by breast cancer are surrounded by a community that remembers them, celebrates them, and stands beside them.
All supplies will be provided. Lights of Hope bags and tulip signs are limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Breast Cancer Awareness Month presenting sponsors:
- Byrnes Mechanical Contractors
- Living Well Foundation
- Read Lumber & Supply
We also thank our Pink Tulip Garden sponsors:
- Enviro Rentals
- Judge Bruce Hampton and Cindy Hampton
- Town of Farmerville
We appreciate the Union General Foundation and Union General Hospital for helping bring Think Pink 2026 and our Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities to the community.
Whether you come to honor someone, remember someone, or simply stand beside those whose lives have been touched by cancer, we hope you will join us.
One bag and one tulip can carry a powerful message: No one faces cancer alone. We are united by hope.
