Parkview Drive Improvements Ground Breaking

Mayor Friday Ellis and the City of Monroe are excited to announce the groundbreaking ceremony for the Parkview Street Improvements Project on February 26, 2024, at 4:00 PM. The event will take place at the intersection of Parkview Dr. and East St. - in the southwest corner of Benoit Recreation Center.
 
The Parkview Street Improvements Project is part of the City's ongoing commitment to maintaining and upgrading City roads. This project will be focused on Parkview Drive, from Winnsboro Road to Plum Street. Key aspects of the project include patching, milling, overlaying with asphalt pavement, and the installation of new pavement striping. Additionally, curb, gutter, and drainage improvements will be assessed and integrated into the construction plans. Funding for this project is made possible through the City's Capital Infrastructure Program.
