Laying of the Flag Ceremony
Mark your Calendar for a Memorial Day Ceremony this week on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023, at 11:30am at Monroe City Hall grounds.
The Fort Miro Chapter, DAR, cordially invite you to a Laying of the Flag ceremony at the 3 Monuments on the Monroe City Hall grounds. The fallen Veterans of Ouachita Parish from the World War II, Korean, and Vietnam Wars will be remembered and honored.
The AmVet Riders LA66, of AmVet Post 66, will conduct the flag ceremony.
*If it rains, we will take the ceremony inside.
Parking available across the street at the Monroe Civic Center.
