America Recycles Day
Ouachita Parish households may drop off items from 9am-1pm at the Monroe Civic Center, 401 Lea Joyner Express way, to be recycled. Accepting Paper (office paper, magazines, cardboard), Plastics (#1, #2), Metal (white goods. scrap metal, appliances, aluminum & tin), Electronics (computers, monitors, printers, fax, TV, scanners, DVD players, stereos, tablets, cellphones), Tires (5per household) Furniture, Clothing. No paint, hazardous material, no mattresses or box springs, no plastic bags or Styrofoam.
