Monroe Chamber of Commerce

What's up this weekend?

Check out what’s happening in MWM this weekend!

Good Afternoon,

The Kathleen Blanco Public Policy Center at UL Lafayette along with regional partners Louisiana Delta Community College, Grambling State University, and the North Delta Regional Planning & Development District in partnership with the Louisiana Office of Broadband Development and Connectivity and the Louisiana Board of Regents are hosting an event to allow stakeholders to provide feedback on the development of Louisiana’s Statewide Digital Equity Plan on November 15, 2022 from 10am-12pm at Louisiana Delta Community College's Monroe Campus Community Auditorium (7500 Millhaven Road, Monroe, LA) with multiple options to view the event throughout the region (see below).

This event is an opportunity to provide your unique input on issues surrounding digital equity within the region and state. The input you provide will inform the Statewide Digital Equity Plan which aims to close the gap between those with affordable access, skills, and support to effectively engage online and those lacking access, skills or support. During the event we will provide background information on broadband and digital equity, followed by an opportunity for your comments and insights. Please come prepared and/or send individuals from your organization ready to discuss digital equity. Please RSVP to reserve your spot!
