DESCRIPTION:The Family Justice Center of Ouachita Parish (FJC) invites you to Hope in the Light of Day Thursday\, October 5 at 10 a.m. at 111 Cotton in West Monroe. Hope in the Light if Day is its annual event to kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The theme of the event this year is Domestic Violence Knows No Boundaries. Featured guests include: Deanna Ead\, Founder and CEO of Unitech Training Academy\; Holly Jones\, Assistant District Attorney for the 4th Judicial District Court\; and Detective Jo Caston\, Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office. The FJC is a one-stop information and service center here to serve those seeking assistance in domestic violence or teen dating situations\, for sexual assault or stalking. The FJC is a collaboration of community partners and agencies working together to provide a safe and welcoming environment for the victims and survivors.
