DESCRIPTION:The Louisiana Office of Broadband Development and Connectivity (ConnectLA) invites you to attend an upcoming meeting in your region on Wednesday March 19th 8:30-10:30am at Louisiana Delta Community College in Monroe where they will provide an update on projects set to soon begin construction through $1.3 billion in funding through its Granting Underserved Municipalities Broadband Opportunities (GUMBO) 2.0 program. The GUMBO 2.0 program is bringing high-speed internet to 140\,000 locations across all 64 parishes. Governor Landry has prioritized rapid broadband expansion statewide\, and your involvement is essential to our success.\n\n \n\nThe purpose of this meeting is to connect local elected officials\, permitting and public works offices\, and other relevant stakeholders across your region with our team and the internet service providers that will be constructing these networks in your area.
